John has over twenty five years of experience in the technology, automotive, and payments industries, leading the creation of innovative new products and services. John has recently been involved in bringing in-vehicle payments technologies to automakers. He leads the COVESA In-Vehicle Payments & EV SIG, bringing automotive OEMs, leading payments companies, automotive suppliers, and major merchants together to develop automotive payment standards. John started his automotive payments work at Honda, where he led their Silicon Valley-based Open Innovation Program to explore the integration of Honda vehicles and products with apps and services from startups to established partners. In the past, John has also been involved in mobile software development at HTC, video game middleware at Scaleform, and PCI compliance with 5PEG SECURITY. His leadership guided these companies to deliver on the full potential of their technology projects.
